Porsche has unveiled a new timepiece, the Chronograph 718 Spyder RS, exclusively for buyers of the special 718 Spyder RS sports car. Crafted in Solothurn, Switzerland, this handcrafted watch perfectly complements the unique features of the car.

Staying true to the lightweight philosophy of the 718 Spyder RS, Porsche Design has utilized a lightweight titanium case for the watch, ensuring that it doesn't add unnecessary weight. The case is available in two finishes: natural titanium or black titanium. Moreover, the dial features a colored ring with options for standard and metallic finishes. For those seeking a truly personalized touch, Porsche Design offers a staggering choice of 114 colors through their Paint to Sample program.

The Chronograph 718 Spyder RS showcases exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. It boasts a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with seven-fold anti-reflective coating, a carbon 'RS' dial, and a black 'GT' dial. The hour and minute hands are crafted from a special material called Super-LumiNova, providing excellent visibility in any lighting condition. Adding a touch of motorsport flair, a small mechanical gear indicator at 9 o'clock features a subtle checkered flag design.

The watch's black leather strap, matching the interior of the 718 Spyder RS, incorporates an attachment made from black Race-Tex material. However, customers also have the option to choose a titanium bracelet as an alternative to the leather strap.

Starting at $8,800, the Chronograph 718 Spyder RS is exclusively available to customers who purchase the 718 Spyder RS. Prices may increase depending on the customization options chosen.

The 718 Spyder RS, serving as the convertible version of the Cayman GT4 RS, shares the same powerful 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six engine, producing 493 hp and 331 lb-ft (449 Nm) of torque. Pricing for the 718 Spyder RS starts at $160,700 (excluding a $1,450 fee for delivery, processing, and handling).
