Suzuki is developing its first production electric vehicle, based on the eVX concept unveiled earlier in the year. The first spy photos of the camouflaged prototype of the Suzuki eVX have been captured during hot weather tests in Southern Europe.

The overall shape of the production model resembles the eVX concept, featuring similarities such as the lack of traditional rear door handles and a small spoiler at the back. The headlights on the prototype appear to have a more conventional shape compared to the concept, but the camouflage hides some design elements that could be similar to the concept's fascia.

Details about the eVX's specifications are currently undisclosed, but the concept had a 60-kilowatt-hour battery and an estimated range of up to 342 miles (550 kilometers) on a single charge based on India’s MIDC, which is generally more generous than the EPA and WLTP standards.

The final electric crossover is not expected to debut before 2025, allowing for more spy photos and testing in the future.
