While still not available in the United States, the updated Tesla Model 3 has been unveiled at the Munich Auto Show. The electric vehicle showcases its redesigned bumpers, modernized lighting units, and an overhauled interior.

Featuring enhanced aerodynamic elements and a fresh look, the 2024 Tesla Model 3 comes with a completely new front appearance, marked by slim headlights and a smoother bumper design.

While the sides maintain much of the previous version's look, new 18- and 19-inch wheel options and optimized tires have been introduced. According to Tesla, these modifications will result in "increased range and less driving noise.”

At the back, the vehicle sports a revamped bumper and novel C-shaped taillights. Additionally, customers will have new color options to consider, including Stealth Gray and Ultra Red.

Inside, a "fully reimagined interior" greets occupants, complete with a novel dashboard, an updated central console, and newly styled door panels. These are complemented by higher-grade materials, tactile accents, and improvements in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH).

The cabin features a 15.4-inch main display as well as a new 8-inch screen for those seated in the rear. This smaller display can control both climate settings and entertainment. Other notable features include a dual wireless phone charger and customizable ambient lighting.

Performance-wise, the rear-wheel-drive Model 3 can reach 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in a span of 6.1 seconds and can cover up to 513 km (319 miles) following the WLTP testing protocol. The Dual Motor Long Range version offers more remarkable numbers, achieving 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds and boasting a WLTP-certified range of 629 km (391 miles).

For recharging, the vehicle is equipped with either 170 kW or 250 kW fast-charging capabilities. Tesla states this allows for up to 282 km (175 miles) of range to be replenished in merely 15 minutes.

In Germany, the starting price is set at €42,990, with initial deliveries slated to commence in the coming month.
