The new Cayenne S E-Hybrid is positioned between the basic 470 hp E-Hybrid and the 739 hp PHEV rocket Turbo E-Hybrid. It delivers 519 hp and 750 Nm.

The S E-Hybrid available in SUV and SUV Coupé body variants of the Cayenne. A revised 3.0L V6 turbo engine with 260 kW/353 hp is paired with a 130 kW (176 hp) electric motor. Together they achieve a system output of 382 kW (519 hp) and a maximum system torque of 750 Nm. The high output potential is reflected in the driving performance. The Cayenne S E-Hybrid accelerates from 0 to 100 in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed of 263 km/h.

With the facelift, the PHEV Cayenne received a larger 25.9 kWh battery. The S E-Hybrid also benefits from this. Porsche claims an electric range of "up to 90 kilometers". However, this is in the EAER city cycle, which is designed to be very manufacturer-friendly. In the normal driving cycle, a range of 71 to 78 kilometers is given.

The WLTP consumption is 1.4 to 1.7 liters per 100 kilometers. Combined energy consumption should be 29.1 to 31.7 kWh per 100 kilometers. The 11 kW on-board charger is said to fully charge the battery in less than two and a half hours.

Standard features include new dual-chamber, dual-valve air suspension, 20-inch wheels, a dual-tailpipe exhaust system in brushed stainless steel and Matrix LED headlamps. The new HD Matrix LED lights are available as an option. As an SUV, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid comes with the Silver Exterior Package; as a Coupé, it comes with the Black Exterior Package.

The interior features eight-way adjustable seats, the Sport Chrono Package with a mode switch for selecting the desired driving program, and stainless steel pedal caps. 

The new Cayenne S E-Hybrid models are available for order now. In Germany, the SUV costs at least 117,062 Euros, while the Cayenne Coupé with 519 hp hybrid drive is available from 121,227 Euros. Deliveries will begin in November 2023.
