320 km range ë-C3 to be offered at a net price starting at 23,300 Euros as Citroën aggressively ramps up its mission to make all-electric mobility accessible to a wider audience. Citroën promises even more affordable 200 km range ë-C3 to come by 2025, starting at 19,990 Euros.

For its fourth-gen C3, Citroen is going all-electric. With over 5.6 million gas-powered C3s sold, the French carmaker is now focusing on zero emissions. The 2024 e-C3 is set to hit the European market at a starting price of roughly 23,300 Euros. A more budget-friendly version is slated for 2025, aiming to be one of Europe's most cost-effective EVs.

Built on Stellantis' Smart Car Platform, the new model features a fresh design. The car has transformed from a classic small hatchback into something that resembles a crossover. Wheels are placed at the outermost edges, and together with a high roofline, this offers a more spacious cabin. Citroen claims 30 mm more headroom and an extra 19 mm of knee space. Trunk space has also increased slightly to 310 liters.

Visually, the front of the e-C3 stands out with Citroen's new logo, accompanied by C-shaped lights. The rear taillights stretch into the quarter panels, and a small fixed spoiler comes standard above the back window.

Under the hood, the changes are even more significant. The gas engines are gone, replaced by an electric setup. The 2024 e-C3 employs a 44-kilowatt-hour Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery, offering up to 320 kilometers of range as measured by the WLTP cycle.

The car gets its juice from a 113-horsepower electric motor on the front axle. This allows it to go from 0-100 km/h in roughly 11 seconds. Charging from 20 to 80 percent with a 7-kilowatt charger will take around four hours. Use a DC fast charger, and you can cut that time to under 30 minutes thanks to its 100-kW CCS port.

Citroen will offer the e-C3 in two variants: You and Max. The base You model comes with LED headlights, emergency braking, a head-up display, powered side mirrors, rear parking sensors, and cruise control. Opt for the Max, and you'll also get 17-inch alloys, two-tone paint, auto wipers, heated and folding side mirrors, automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, and more.

Sales start at 23,300 Euros, as noted earlier. By 2025, a smaller-battery version will be available for 19,990 Euros, offering 200 km of range. This could make the e-C3 one of the most competitively priced EVs in Europe, nearly matching the Dacia Spring's starting price of 20,800 Euros in France before local incentives.
