Skyworth EV has a giant TV inside and can even measure disease risk

China's electric vehicle (EV) sector is witnessing remarkable growth. Skyworth, a branch of the Chinese electronics giant Skywell, is now entering this competitive market with its innovative Skyhome sedan, slated for production next year.

Skyhome's design is a fusion of modernity and traditional Chinese architectural principles, creating a distinct appearance in the EV landscape. According to the company's press release, the vehicle features unique cornice wings that adjust while driving to enhance aerodynamics, reducing wind resistance by 3%. In challenging weather or emergencies, these wings increase resistance by 5% for better vehicle control.

However, the Skyhome is more than just an aesthetically pleasing car. The development team emphasizes its advanced technology, notably the 'Ten Smart Butlers.' This system, driven by AI algorithms, offers a wide range of services, from business advice to emotional support.

The car's voice interaction technology is extraordinary, enabling it to perform complex tasks like listening, speaking, recognizing, understanding, and thinking. Additionally, it includes a health monitoring system that can detect health risks at an early stage.

For entertainment, the Skyhome boasts a retractable giant TV for rear passengers, which seems larger than the 31.1-inch screen in the new BMW 7 Series.

In terms of mechanical engineering, Skyworth has made significant investments. The Skyhome features an advanced air suspension system with a double-wishbone front setup and a five-link rear aluminum alloy layout. The balanced axle load ratio and an integrated battery pack design in the chassis reduce part count by 127 and the vehicle's weight by 24%, compared to traditional EV designs.

Details about the powertrain are yet to be released.
