The fourth generation Škoda Octavia has undergone a comprehensive facelift.

The Škoda Octavia is still available in liftback and station wagon versions. Visual changes are primarily characterised by a redesigned radiator grille, new second-generation Matrix LED headlights, redesigned front and rear bumpers.

The LED taillights with animated turn indicators have also been redesigned. Four equipment lines are available for the updated model: Essence, Selection, Sportline and RS. Nine interior design options are also offered.

As a result of the changes to the bumpers, both body versions have increased in length by 9 mm and are now 4,698 mm. Škoda has modified the lower air intakes and air ducts to the front wheel arch panels. In addition, the designers have matched the sides of the grille to the height of the new main headlights.

The Octavia's colour palette includes three solid colours and seven metallic shades. The bright colour Mamba Green is reserved for the Octavia Sportline and RS. Another attractive colour called Phoenix Orange is only available for the Octavia Combi.

For the first time for the Škoda Octavia, customers can order a 13-inch centre infotainment display. However, a 10-inch infotainment display combined with a 10-inch digital instrument cluster comes as standard. Also from now on, dual-zone Climatronic is included in the base equipment of all Octavia versions.

Later, Škoda will integrate its artificial intelligence-based ChatGPT chatbot Laura digital voice assistant into the Octavia's on-board system.

Engines

Two petrol and two diesel engines are available for the updated Škoda Octavia. They cover a power range from 85 kW (115 hp) in the two entry-level engines to 195 kW (265 hp) in the Octavia RS. The market launch of the 2.0 TSI engine with 150 kW (204 hp) with standard all-wheel drive is scheduled for a later date.

The1.5 TSI petrol engine and the 2.0 TDI diesel unit develop 85 kW (115 hp) and are combined with a six-speed manual gearbox. Like the 1.5 TSI with 110 kW (150 hp), the base petrol engine also comes with an optional DSG gearbox and a hybrid supercharger. The Octavia RS's top-of-the-range 195 kW (265 hp) petrol engine is now 15 kW (20 hp) more powerful than before.
