The Genesis Neolun SUV debuted as a concept car, but it could be reborn as a production vehicle in the future, the GV90.

The presentation of Genesis Neolun took place in New York. This is the largest car of the premium Korean brand. Its name is made of two words: Greek neo ("new"), and Latin luna ("moon"). Neolun design is inspired by Korean moon vases.

The concept SUV is created with maximum care for passengers. The rear doors open against the course of movement to make it more convenient to get in and out of the car. The middle body pillars are absent, and wide seats with footrests and wide armrests are installed in the interior. At the same time, the front seats can be rotated so that the driver and front passenger are facing the second row passengers.

Two screens are installed on the ceiling of the Neolun. The interior is finished in Royal Indigo cashmere, which is combined with Purple Silk leather. The floor of the SUV is made of natural wood.

One of the many highlights of Genesis Neolun is the climate system. It uses a special film applied to the floor, front panel, door panels, centre console and seat backs for even heat distribution.

The Neolun is a clear link to the existing G90 sedan and GV80 SUV models with a pair of slim LED headlamps forming a V-shaped pattern and extending down the sides of the car. Genesis has not provided any technical details about the Neolun, but it is known that we can assume that the powertrain is unified with the EV9. The latter is available with a single electric motor at the rear with 200 hp, as well as a twin-motor powertrain with 378 hp.
