In the new model year, the Corolla is the first Toyota model in Europe to feature the nanoe X air purification system: The technology developed by Panasonic uses water molecules that contain microscopic hydroxyl radicals. They are released into the airflow and inhibit the growth of pollutants: In addition to viruses, bacteria, pollen and other allergens, dangerous substances contained in the ultra-small PM2.5 particles are also broken down and counteract the spread of mold. In addition, bad odors are neutralized and moisture evaporation is stopped - the occupants' skin and hair do not dry out.
According to Toyota, independent laboratory tests have confirmed the effectiveness of the air purification system, which is standard equipment on all Team Germany vehicles.
The finishing touches are completed by new paintwork: the color Super Green Metallic, available exclusively for the GR Sport equipment, in conjunction with the contrasting glossy black roof underlines the sporty character of the compact Toyota models. The Corolla GR Sport also features additional design accents in Liquid Black. They create a satin chrome effect on the exterior mirrors, sill inserts and the lower trim strip of the front spoiler.
Toyota Corolla (2024)
Propulsion continues to be provided by the revised fifth generation hybrid drives . The 103 kW (140 hp) 1.8-liter hybrid and the 144 kW (196 hp) 2.0-liter hybrid system are intended to combine driving pleasure with high efficiency. In both versions, the Corolla achieves combined WLTP consumption of 4.4 to 4.9 liters per 100 kilometers. In addition, it runs purely electrically at times and is therefore locally emission-free.
In Germany, the 2024 Corolla is available as a five-door starting at 33,340 euros, with the Touring Sport wagon costing 1,200 euros more. The first vehicles are already being delivered to customers.
