Lynk & Co recently began testing its new Zero EV, a battery-electric sedan similar to the Zeekr 001. The car was spotted on mountain roads in Anhui Province, China.

The Zero EV exhibits a sleek, fastback-style design akin to Lynk & Co's 07 EM-P PHEV. It features sharp, talon-shaped LED headlights connected by a thin LED light bar. The bumper design is minimalistic with fewer intakes or angles and includes a wide grille at its base.

The Zero EV is built on the same Sustainable Experience Architecture platform as the Zeekr 001, boasting approximate dimensions of 5 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and a wheelbase of about 3 meters. When compared to the Lotus Emeya, it is nearly identical in size but gains an edge with its powerful models; the standard model comes with 778 horsepower while there’s an upgraded performance model hitting an impressive 1,248 horsepower.

CarNewsChina reports the car will also arrive with rear-wheel steering and have a tank-style turn function like the Zeekr.

Inside the vehicle, spy shots taken over recent months reveal a modern cabin layout. It includes a narrow digital instrument cluster, a large centrally located infotainment display, and a sporty flat-bottom steering wheel that accentuates its forward-thinking interior design philosophy.
