Bugatti has incorporated elements from Swiss watchmakers into the instrument cluster of their new Tourbillon sports car. The new model was unveiled today with production set to commence in 2026.

Bugatti’s latest creation, the Tourbillon, reflects a robust dedication to sophistication and functionality, echoing the Chiron's cabin design but showcasing a distinctively intricate instrument cluster. Developed in collaboration with revered Swiss watchmakers, this feature includes delicate components like rubies and sapphires spread over 600 parts, encased in titanium with precise tolerances ranging from 5 to 50 microns. This finely engineered cluster weighs a mere 700 grams.

The central dial of this masterpiece primarily displays the speedometer and rpm indicator complemented by a digital display for speed and gear selection. On the left is another dial showing temperature, fuel level, and battery status. To the right is an impactful gauge flaunting the performance metrics for the car’s immense 1,800-horsepower hybrid V-16 engine.

Addressing design principles, CEO Mate Rimac noted that there is an emerging inclination among supercar buyers for analog control interfaces integrated within modern technology frameworks. This influenced their decision to incorporate features like hide-away screens ensuring timeless appeal while maintaining analog simplicity. Moreover, the innovative steering wheel design promotes optimal visibility by fixing the hub and routing spokes behind the cluster.

Production of this marvel is slated to start in two years and will be limited to only 250 units.
