The Han lineup, first introduced in 2020 with a facelift in 2022, now features its second major upgrade. The most noticeable change is the unified look between the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and electric (EV) models. Both versions now share the same design, adding a new Fashion Gray color and an optional Black Sports package. A roof-mounted LiDAR system indicates advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) improvements.
Inside, the 2025 Han comes with a larger 15.,6-inch touchscreen with better resolution, plus Nappa leather, real aluminum, and wood trim. Features include front seats with 10-point massage, heating, and ventilation, along with a 775-watt, 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system. The BYD DiPilot 300 system, supported by 31 sensors and the Nvidia Orin-X chip, boosts safety, while a new rear suspension and variable damping enhance ride comfort.
BYD Han
The Han remains available in both PHEV and EV versions. The PHEV features the fifth-generation DM-i powertrain, delivering 416 hp and a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 6.9 seconds. It offers an EV-only range of 125 km (78 miles) and a total range of 1,350 km (839 miles).
The EV model now includes an 800V BYD Blade battery, which supports faster charging. It can add 160 km (99 miles) of range in just 10 minutes. Depending on the version, the Han EV has a range between 506 km (314 miles) and 701 km (436 miles), with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.9 seconds across all variants.
The 2025 BYD Han is available for order in China. PHEV prices range from ¥165,800 to ¥225,800 ($23,284 to $31,711), while the EV is priced between ¥179,800 and ¥235,800 ($25,251 to $33,116). Despite the upgrades, the PHEV’s starting price is ¥4,000 ($562) lower than its predecessor.
