Under the hood, the Rocket GTS boasts a hybrid powertrain that delivers an impressive 1,000 horsepower. BRABUS has combined a custom-built 4.5-liter V8 biturbo engine with an electric drive module to achieve this power figure. The V8 alone churns out 796 horsepower, while the electric motor adds another 204 horsepower to the mix.
The company has electronically limited the torque to 1,820 Nm (1,194 lb-ft), to protect the drivetrain components. This powerhouse setup allows the Rocket GTS to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.6 seconds. The top speed is capped at 315 km/h (196 mph).
BRABUS has equipped the Rocket GTS with a nine-speed sports transmission for the main engine, while the electric drive gets a two-speed gearbox. This combination ensures smooth power delivery across the entire speed range.
Brabus Rocket GTS
The exterior of the Rocket GTS showcases BRABUS's attention to detail and performance-oriented design. The body features exposed carbon fiber and has been carefully crafted using CAD, CFD, and wind tunnel optimization. The result is a hyper GT design that enhances stability at speeds beyond 300 km/h (185 mph).
Wide aerodynamic fenders give the Rocket GTS an aggressive stance, while 21-inch BRABUS Monoblock P "PLATINUM EDITION" wheels with carbon aero blades help dissipate brake heat.
Inside the cabin, BRABUS has created a luxurious environment. The interior is wrapped in slate gray leather with black Alcantara accents. Diamond-quilted stitching in a "Seashell Diamond" design adds a touch of elegance. BRABUS "Shadow Gray" trim and illuminated BRABUS logos complete the high-end look.
The Rocket GTS will be a limited production model, built to order for discerning customers. BRABUS hasn't revealed pricing or availability details yet, but given the extensive modifications and performance upgrades, it's safe to assume this will be an exclusive and expensive offering.
