The main highlight of the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model is the new 19.7 kWh battery, which allows you to drive 133 kilometres solely on electric power. The car has a total range of an impressive 900 kilometres.
The Leon eHybrid combines a 1.5-litre 150 hp (110 kW) TSI petrol engine, an 85 kW (115 hp) electric motor and a 6-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. The final output of the system is 204 hp and the maximum torque reaches 350 Nm.
In addition, the model has received support for DC fast charging with a capacity of up to 50 kW. The battery can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in just 26 minutes. AC charging with 11 kW is also retained.
Seat Leon eHybrid
The Leon eHybrid is available in two body variants: the hatchback accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and the Sportstourer station wagon in 7.9 seconds.
The interior of the Leon eHybrid is even more technologically advanced. The model features a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit dashboard, which can be replaced by a 12.9-inch dashboard in the premium version. Matrix LED headlights and touchscreen panels for climate and multimedia controls are also available as standard.
In the home market in Spain, the cost of the novelty starts at 36,450 euros. It is important to note that the Leon eHybrid is only offered in the FR version with an emphasis on sporty styling.
