The smart #5 electric crossover has received the most powerful version created by Brabus. It is all-wheel drive, has two motors and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

From the outside, the smart #5 Brabus does not differ much from the regular versions. Red decorative elements on the lower perimeter of the body, on the side mirrors and the roof attract attention. The brake calipers, hidden behind the original 21-inch Brabus Monoblock Z discs, are painted in the same colour. Brabus logo nameplates are placed all over the bodywork.

Red accents are also prominent in the car's interior design. The standard equipment includes a Sennheiser Signature audio system with a capacity of 2000 watts. With its help, among other things, the artificial sound of the internal combustion engine is reproduced. Front seats have a combined finish of microfibre and Dinamica material. All seats are equipped with heating, and the front ones are also ventilated. The steering wheel is covered with alcantara and also has illuminated Brabus lettering.

The new version of the Brabus model #5 gets a twin-motor configuration with 646 hp and 710 Nm of torque. With "Launch Control" activated, the 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 3.8 seconds and the top speed is 210 km/h. In terms of dynamic characteristics, the novelty is only slightly inferior to the 639 hp Porsche Macan Turbo.

The 100 kW∙h battery pack gives the smart #5 a range of 540 kilometres in the WLTP cycle. Assuming the use of 400 kW DC fast charging, it will take 18 minutes to increase the remaining energy from 10 to 80 per cent.

Orders for the smart #5 Brabus electric cars in Germany will start to be taken on 24 April with prices starting from 61 thousand euros. Later this year, the "charged" electric car will also be released in other European markets.
