The concept is built on the Unimog U 4023 model with portal axles, a durable frame, and differential locks.
The main technical update is the installation of a 7.7-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine OM 936 instead of the standard 5.1-liter engine with a power of 231 hp. The new unit develops 300 hp.
Externally, the vehicle received redesigned grille, bumpers, and sills, special rear body panels, matte gray paint, 20-inch wheels with beadlocks, and an original set of LED lights. Instead of traditional mirrors, a MirrorCam system with cameras and displays is installed, facilitating maneuvering both off-road and in tight urban conditions.
The four-seat cabin uses high-quality leather, contrasting stitching, LED ambient lighting, and leather floor mats. The project authors emphasize the unusual combination of utilitarian chassis and trim more typical for premium passenger models.
The Unimog was initially created as an agricultural machine in post-war Germany, and production under the Mercedes brand began in 1951. This unique unit will be handed over to a client for operational tests, based on which the company will assess the prospects for a series of more luxurious modifications.
