Chinese manufacturers continue to churn out hybrids to suit every taste and budget. The Chery brand has officially announced the start of pre-sales for its new mid-size crossover Fulwin T9L.
The price of the novelty at the pre-sale stage ranges from $20,300 to $24,600. For this money, the buyer gets a car that, in terms of dimensions and equipment, plays in the big league. The body length is 4870 mm, width - 1930 mm, and wheelbase - 2920 mm.

The aesthetics of "ink strokes" and comfort
Chery designers decided to depart from the usual templates, presenting a new design language. The main accent is the narrow "Dianmo" headlights (translated as "ink spot"), inspired by the graceful brush strokes in calligraphy. The fog lights received a seven-layer ring illumination, adding depth to the front. From the side, the car looks like a dynamic crossover thanks to the black protective plastic and wheels with a diameter of 19 or 20 inches.
Inside, we are greeted by the "smart" Lingxi cabin, whose heart is a processor manufactured using 3-nm technology. It supports the Fulwin UI 2.0 interface. For passenger entertainment, there is a 17.3-inch screen mounted on the ceiling and an AI Boya audio system with 23 speakers and 1080 W power. The front seats, already in the basic configuration, have massage and heating, while in the top versions, "zero gravity" seats with 16-position electric adjustment are available.

Powertrain and autonomy
The feature of the Chery Fulwin T9L is the hybrid system Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM 6.0. Buyers are offered two power options:
- Base version: 1.5-liter engine (82 kW) and an electric motor at 160 kW (215 hp). Total power - 242 kW (325 hp).
- Top version: 1.5-liter turbo engine (115 kW) and an electric motor at 260 kW (349 hp). Together they produce 375 kW (503 hp).
The battery with a capacity of 32.7 Ah provides up to 230 km of driving exclusively on electricity (according to the CLTC cycle). However, the real shock comes with a combined range of 2000 km. The chassis has MacPherson suspension at the front and a fully aluminum multi-link independent suspension at the rear, additionally reinforced with CDC electromagnetic dampers.

Intelligence on board
Safety and autopilot are implemented through Falcon systems. In the top configuration, the Falcon 700 complex is installed, which includes a lidar on the roof and a Horizon Journey 6P chip. Thanks to 27 sensors and a computational power of 560 TOPS, the car supports autopilot navigation (NOA) in urban environments and on highways, as well as fully automatic parking. For the all-wheel-drive version, the company launched an interesting "co-creation" initiative: over 20 days, potential clients will help the brand determine the final specifications of the AWD modification.
