The automaker sends puzzles to its customers to keep them entertained while they wait for their new cars to arrive.

An unusual promotion called "Not so MINI" is designed for MINI buyers in the US who are on a waiting list to receive cars. Some will get full-sized puzzles, others will be promised puzzles of more usual sizes.

MINI did not specify how it will distribute the different sizes of puzzles. Perhaps it will depend on the waiting time and full-size puzzles will be given to those who wait the longest for the promised car.

"People buy a MINI because of its cheeky and fun-to-drive spirit, so we wanted to give owners something fun to do while they wait to get behind the wheel of their new MINI," said Rah Mahtani, Brand Communications Manager, MINI USA. "The 'Not So MINI' puzzle is one of the ways we are showing the MINI community our appreciation as owners wait for their new vehicles. Owners and their families can enjoy building and displaying their puzzles, showcasing MINI's iconic design, right in their home garages or living rooms."

Long waiting times for the delivery of new cars are currently typical not only for MINI, but also for other global automotive brands. Manufacturers are unable to keep up with demand due to lack of electronic components and problems with logistics.

Nevertheless, the development of new models does not stop and soon MINI will present the concept of a new electric crossover. With its help, the British brand will show a fundamentally new design, which will be used in various models in the future.
