A team of engineers from Kryvyi Rih, having many years of experience in the development of cars, decided to work in a different direction. Their equipment is already working at the front.

In peacetime, Soolon Motors has been developing all-electric trucks for four years. Due to the war, the project of electric cars had to be suspended. However, the experience of specialists was used in another direction.

Vitaly Bryzgalov, the founder of Сoolon Motors, said that he was approached by the military. They said that they needed buggies that could go off-road, and normal cars were not suitable for this due to their heavy weight and insufficient power.

"We found very quickly in Kryvyi Rih a model that could be used as a basis. It was a sports car buggy, which we adapted to such more unusual needs. After simplifying and reducing the price of the model, we started production. We made the first, second, third - we gave them to the boys (military , ed.), they really liked it. And there was a request for scaling," added the founder of "Сoolon Motors".

During three months of intense work, the team produced 13 combat vehicles. 4 of them were sent to the hottest spots in Eastern Ukraine. Vitaly Bryzgalov says that currently the demand for such transport is much higher than the supply:

"There are many pick-ups and military vehicles, but it is the buggies that allow us to do the work very quickly and ensure the unexpected appearance of our Armed Forces in those places where no one expects them."

Buggy is created by a team of 14 engineers and volunteers. Materials are taken on a metal base, parts are made from them, welded, painted, tested. If the car works normally, it is handed over to the military.

Volunteers say that currently there is a need for hundreds of such light vehicles for just one direction of hostilities. Therefore, they share the blueprints of their buggies with other teams who are willing to build similar machines.

The project is financed by its initiator, residents of Kryvyi Rih and various funds - both local and all-Ukrainian.
