TELO is a startup based in Silicon Valley that aims to provide a right-sized electric truck with capabilities comparable to full-size pickup trucks. The company plans to offer a 106kWh battery and a dual motor configuration capable of 500 horsepower.

The truck has a range of 350 miles and can achieve a 20-minute charge time from 20-80% capacity. Despite its compact size (152 inches long), TELO promises to fit five seats and a 60" bed, similar to a full-size truck.

TELO optimizes space efficiency through design choices and claims its battery is 50% more space efficient than industry standards. The truck features a foldable mid-gate and a tunnel storage compartment for additional cargo space.

Optional camper shell and third-row seats can increase seating capacity to eight passengers.

TELO is focused on safety, with innovative electronic aids planned for driver and passenger safety. The small size of the truck contributes to improved road safety, reduced environmental impact, and resource efficiency.

The target price for the initial version is $50,000, with plans to offer lower-priced and trimmed-down versions in the future.

TELO plans to have a running prototype by the end of summer and aims to deliver the first 500 hand-built vehicles by the end of 2025.
