This innovative technology integrates cameras that project the obscured view onto screens in the vehicle’s cabin.
Further adding to its technological advancements, the Pear may feature a projected gauge cluster, as indicated in a recent walkaround video. While details remain unclear, this potential feature suggests an innovative approach to driver information display.
The vehicle will have two battery options: a standard range of approximately 180 miles (290 km), suitable for urban environments, and a larger Hyper Range pack estimated at 320 miles (515 km).
Fisker has also announced a base acceleration target for the Pear, with a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time of 6.3 seconds, although it remains unclear if this refers to the model with the smaller battery pack or a higher-performance version. Additionally, the company hinted at a faster, high-performance trim named the Pear Extreme.
The Pear scheduled for production in late next year at Foxconn's facility in Lordstown, Ohio. Fisker plans to commence deliveries of the Pear in early 2025, with an attractive starting price of $29,900.
