The current generation Hyundai i20 has been on the market since 2020. The restyling debuted in May 2023. And this time, the Korean manufacturer has diluted the standard equipment with a new N Line version.
From the outside, the i20 N Line differs from other i20s with new 17-inch discs and a revised grille design with an integrated Hyundai logo (in other versions, the logo is placed on the bonnet). The bumper also features sporty design elements. Nine body colours are available, including four new variants: Lumen Grey Pearl, Meta Blue Pearl, Vibrant Blue Pearl and Lucid Lime Metallic.
The interior has a motorsport feel with multi-coloured LED lighting, red accents and metallised trim. It also comes with an N Line sports steering wheel with perforated leather and red decorative stitching. Another notable new feature is the N Line leather shift knob with red inserts and the N logo. In addition, sports pedals with metal pads and more sporty shaped seats with enlarged side bolsters.

In terms of safety, the compact car boasts an emergency brake assist system and a lane keeping system. Additional systems such as parking assistant for parallel and perpendicular parking spaces are designed to provide added convenience. Navigation Smart Cruise Control (NSCC) adjusts speed for safer motorway driving.
The new i20 N Line also incorporates the same technical developments as the standard version of the Hyundai i20 updated last year. These include USB-C charging ports, a second-generation eCall emergency call system with 4G technology and wireless navigation map updates.
The manufacturer is still leaving open the question of what engines the i20 N Line will be available with. Probably, the basic 1.2-litre petrol engine is inappropriate here. That leaves a turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine (with or without support for a 48-volt mild hybrid) with 100 or 120 hp.
Production of the updated Hyundai i20 N Line will start in April 2024 and will go on sale closer to the summer. Prices will be known closer to the start of sales.
