The last Hyundai i20 N and i30 N will go on sale before the end of 2024. After that, only electric cars labelled N Performance - starting with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N - will be sold in Europe.
This move by the Korean manufacturer fits into the overall strategy to electrify the model range. The ultimate goal is to move to a full transition to zero-emission vehicles in Europe by 2035
As for the Ioniq 5 N, it is one of the most expensive Hyundai models in Europe today with a starting price of €74,900 (in Germany). This version is based on the regular Ioniq 5, but comes with almost maximum equipment and a dual-motor all-wheel drive system with up to 478 kW (650 hp). With an 84 kWh battery pack, the range in the WLTP cycle is 448 kilometres.
