The Audi A3 has gone through a refresh and got a new crossover version for the Sportback named allstreet.

“The Audi A3 allstreet stands out from the rest of the A3 family from the very first impression,” says Stephan Fahr-Becker, Team Leader Exterior Design at AUDI AG. “As a crossover in the premium compact class, it has a completely unique look. The aim was to use specific design elements to emphasize the vehicle’s higher ground clearance even more clearly."

This was implemented, among other things, by the vertical emphasis of the matt black painted single-frame radiator grille. It is also higher than the normal A3 Sportback and is intended to bring the crossover closer to the Q models. Three Allstreet-typical beads on the front and rear also reinforce the off-road character. At the front they are integrated into the spoiler lip, which suggests underrun protection, and at the rear they are integrated into the diffuser as part of the rear bumper. There are also dark sill strips in the lower area of the doors. There is also a standard railing on the roof.

The suspension of the A3 allstreet is 15 millimeters higher than the A3 Sportback with standard suspension. Together with the larger tire diameter, there is 30 millimeters more ground clearance. Wide wheel arch strips also emphasize the wheel arches in which 17-inch wheels turn as standard. 18- and 19-inch wheels are also optionally available for both models.

Like the other A3 models, the allstreet can be ordered from March and will roll off the production line in Ingolstadt. It can be ordered as a 35 TFSI with a 1.5-liter engine that produces 150 hp. With 7-speed automatic and later also as a 6-speed manual. The diesel option is the 35 TDI, which also produces 150 hp and can only be equipped with the 7-speed S tronic. A version with all-wheel drive will follow in combination with the 2.0-liter gasoline engine in 2025. Prices start at 37,450 euros. Thus the extra payment compared to the non-crossover version is 1,800 euros.
