The Toyota bZ4X Touring is 140 mm longer and 20 mm higher than the standard Toyota bZ4X. This has resulted in a noticeable increase in interior space: the boot volume is now 600 litres. Passengers in the second row of seats also received a bonus - a higher ceiling and larger windows.
New roof rails are installed on the roof, designed to carry a load of up to 70 kg. The new model also has an increased towing capacity of 1,500 kg. These two qualities make the Touring more suitable for outdoor activities, camping and transporting trailers or tents on the roof.

Just like the updated bZ4X, the new version is available with two powertrains, both combined with a 74.7 kWh battery. The base version, with a single 224 hp electric motor, can travel up to 560 km on the WLTP cycle.
The top version will have two motors with a total output of 380 hp and all-wheel drive. This modification also uses the Toyota X-Mode system, which improves traction and stability on slippery surfaces. The official range has not yet been announced, but it can be expected to be slightly less than that of the single-engine version.

Both versions support fast DC charging with a capacity of up to 150 kW. The basic version is equipped with an 11 kW on-board charger, and the all-wheel drive version is equipped with a 22 kW charger.
The Touring's exterior features motifs from the new Subaru Trailseeker, which will also be available in Europe by the end of the year. However, Toyota has chosen a less aggressive style, with a more streamlined front end and C-shaped daytime running lights.
The interior - as in the updated bZ4X - has a large central screen of the multimedia system and a massive centre console with compartments for small items.
Sales of the Toyota bZ4X Touring are expected to start in the first half of 2026. Prices have not yet been announced. Before the restyling, the bZ4X cost from €42,900 - the wagon is likely to be several thousand euros more expensive.
It is interesting that in America, a similar EV model received a different name - Toyota bZ Woodland.
