Pirelli has introduced a special version of the P Zero R tires for the updated Porsche 911 Turbo S with over 700 hp.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is a car that forgives no mistakes and accepts no compromises. When you have 711 hp at your right foot, the question of grip on the pavement stops being theoretical and becomes a matter of life and death. This is why Pirelli developed a special version of the P Zero R tires, designed to turn this colossal power into pure dynamics rather than smoke from burnt rubber.

The latest iteration of the German sports car has not only seen an increase in power but torque up to 800 Nm. To handle such a load, Pirelli engineers applied a concept that was previously only available in professional motorsport.

More Rubber for Better Control

One of the key changes is the increased width of the rear tires. Now the rear axle of the Porsche 911 Turbo S features 325/30 ZR 21 wheels. This increased the contact patch, which is crucial during intense accelerations and exits from sharp turns. The front axle remains on 255/35 ZR 20 tires, maintaining the steering precision for which the 911 series is renowned.

Special attention was given to the tire compound. It must work across a wide range of temperatures, providing predictable behavior both on a scorching track and on a wet highway during rain.

Everyday Comfort

Despite its sporty ambitions, the Porsche 911 Turbo S is often used as a vehicle for traveling or everyday city trips. Therefore, Pirelli didn’t ignore the issue of comfort. The tread pattern of the P Zero R is optimized to reduce acoustic noise.

Rolling resistance has also been reduced. Although owners of such cars are rarely concerned with fuel economy, this measure directly affects the efficiency of the entire transmission and the overall balance of the car. The "N" marking on the tire sidewall confirms that the product has been certified by engineers from Zuffenhausen and fully complies with Porsche factory specifications.
