The German tuner's Power S and limited Scatenato packages add serious horsepower to the plug-in hybrid super-SUV, with no tariff barriers for US buyers.

ABT Sportsline, the Kempten, Germany-based tuning house known for high-output Audi and Lamborghini builds, has released two performance packages for the Lamborghini Urus SE plug-in hybrid — and both are available to US customers through abt-america.com. The upgrades push an already potent machine well beyond its factory output, while keeping the hybrid system fully operational.

What the tuning adds

The stock Urus SE combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor for a combined system output of 789 hp (589 kW). ABT's entry-level Power S package lifts that to 910 hp through recalibrated engine management. Step up to the Scatenato — limited to 99 units worldwide — and you get 840 hp / 627 kW paired with 738 lb-ft of torque, courtesy of upgraded turbochargers and intercoolers drawn from ABT's Power R technology. The Scatenato's lower peak number reflects the hardware-focused approach: torque delivery and drivability take priority over raw horsepower bragging rights.

One notable engineering feat: both packages preserve the Urus SE's plug-in hybrid (PHEV) functionality. Keeping the electric motor, battery management, and modified V8 synchronized after tuning is, by ABT's own account, the most complex part of the build.

Body, exhaust, and wheels

ABT pairs the power upgrades with a carbon-fiber aero package: front splitter, revised side elements, and rear bumper additions designed to sharpen the Urus's look without a full restyle. A stainless-steel exhaust with four 4.1-inch (105 mm) tips handles sound duties — the Urus SE can creep silently on battery power around town, but ABT clearly wanted something louder under hard acceleration. Completing the package: 23-inch forged wheels wrapped in 285/35 ZR23 front and 325/30 ZR23 rear tires.

US pricing and context

The Urus SE starts at $258,838 before options — per Urus SE US MSRP. The ABT body-and-tune package runs approximately €50,000–€65,000 (roughly $55,000–$71,000 at current rates), adding around 19–25% to the vehicle's sticker price. The full Scatenato build carries a separate price tier that ABT quotes individually. Installation and certification costs are additional.

No federal IRA tax credit applies to aftermarket tuning; the car's PHEV status remains unchanged post-modification, but the upgrade itself carries no EV incentive eligibility.
