Hyundai has officially unveiled the new Ioniq 6 electric car. It has a very slick body and an interesting design.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 will be the production version of the 2020 Prophecy concept. It has more familiar headlights instead of pixelated ones, slightly simplified bumpers, B-pillars, and doors that open in the direction of travel. However, in general, the design philosophy is preserved - the new electric car was called not just a sedan, but an Electrified Streamliner, whatever that means.

The interior of the Ioniq 6 is designed in the style of minimalism, however, unusual solutions were also found inside the car. First of all, the side displays, which display the image from the external cameras. They are visually interconnected by a horizontal line, above which air duct deflectors and a block of two 12-inch displays are placed. In this block, one screen acts as a dashboard, and the second - a multimedia system.

The front panel of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 seems to hover above the high center console, under which free space is organized. Unlike the Tesla Model 3, which should become the main competitor of the new Hyundai, there is a separate climate control unit. Decorative lighting is integrated into the door panels and center console, while interior elements and seats are made from recycled materials.

Specifications Hyundai Ioniq 6 has not yet been disclosed. It is known that the electric car is built on the E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform), which was also used in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. According to rumors, the electric car will receive a battery with a capacity of 77.4 kWh and a twin-engine power plant with a capacity of more than 300 hp. The range is expected to be around 515 km (320 mi). Probably, there will be simpler versions with one engine and a smaller capacity battery.
