German government cuts funding for electric vehicle purchases by 600 million euros in 2024

The Federal Government has earmarked a total of 4.7 billion euros for electromobility in the Climate and Transformation Fund (KTF) for 2024. However, according to current information from the German Association of the Automotive Industry (ZDK), only just under €810 million of this amount is earmarked for the purchase of electric cars.
