It's official: GM kills Chevrolet Malibu, production to end this fall

General Motors has announced it will cease production of the Chevrolet Malibu this fall, ending its long-standing run since 1964. The final assembly line will halt on November 4, 2024, at the Fairfax Assembly Plant in Kansas City.
